Our best designs are created when we work closely with clients, owners and stakeholders to develop the most responsive and appropriate lighting designs for our projects.

The team at Illumination Arts has experience in every aspect of the lighting design process, for all types of projects. With backgrounds in theater, architecture, engineering and business, we bring a perspective that complements that of our clients.

Illumination Arts was founded in early 2004 by Faith Baum and Ken Douglas. Since then, the firm has designed more than sixty projects, including signature bridges and other transportation projects, schools, commercial office buildings, synagogues, museum exhibits and hotels. Illumination Arts is certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) by state and local agencies throughout the United States.
